The Camden conference named its All-Conference boys basketball players this week, including selections for Minneota, Dawson-Boyd, Tracy-Milroy-Balaton, Canby, Yellow Medicine East and Lakeview.

Senior Brayson Boike was named the Most Valuable Player for Camden North, and senior Trevor Smith of TMB was selected as the South’s MVP. Both players scored their 2,000th career point during the regular season this year.

Along with Boike, Dawson-Boyd’s Drew Hjelmeland, Gunner Liebl and Jaxton Hastad were selected to North Camden’s All-Conference team. Carson Stratmoen earned an honorable mention. For the Panthers, Alex Munson, Griffin Zick and Noah Knakmuhs join Smith on the South’s team.

Minneota also got a pair of nods in Lucas Rybinkski and Lincoln Jerzak, and Tate Peterson earned an honorable mention.

Jack Abrahamson made the team for Canby with an honorable mention for Cayden Anderson, while Wakinyan GreyCloud was selected for Yellow Medicine East with a Jacob Peterson honorable mention.

Lakeview’s Braylon Breyfogle was selected to the conference team, with Carson Boe given an honorable mention.

For Camden South, Ryan Kruse has been named Coach of the Year after leading TMB to a 21-7 overall record, a significant improvement from the Panthers’ 17-10 record last year.

Dawson-Boyd’s Cory Larson is the North’s Coach of the Year after leading the Blackjacks to a 30-3 record and its first state championship in program history.
